Summerfield sleeps up to eight without turning the house into a dormitory. Six guests have a double bedroom of their own; the final two can use the sofa bed downstairs in the sitting room.

The field-view room

The most generous of the three bedrooms, with a double bed, soft green upholstery and a window seat looking straight over the surrounding fields. It is calm, bright and made for the guest who calls dibs first.

The warm room

A cosy double bedroom with terracotta accents, soft lighting and open-country views. Warm without feeling heavy, it is an easy room to disappear into after a long day out.

A more tucked-away double with sage tones, a simple country feel and a cocooning shape. Ideal for anyone who values a little extra peace when the rest of the house is still chatting.

The flexible extra

The downstairs sitting-room sofa converts into a bed for up to two additional guests, taking the lodge from six to eight sleepers. Handy for children, friends or anyone who would rather avoid the stairs.
